Alice Britton has become a defining creative voice in the immersive industry, combining bold storytelling with authentic cultural expression. As an Executive Director at Journey, Alice’s work continues to push the boundaries of what immersive visitor experiences can achieve – emotionally, technologically, and socially. Her recent leadership on the Saudi Arabia Pavilion for Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan stands as a landmark example of how immersive environments can transform global perceptions and foster meaningful cultural exchange.

Alice spearheaded the Pavilion’s gallery experiences, fusing physical design with content to craft narratives that celebrate Saudi Arabia’s rich heritage while projecting an ambitious, forward-thinking vision. One of Alice’s most remarkable contributions was leading multiple research trips and film shoots across Saudi Arabia, capturing authentic stories from the nation’s diverse communities. She ensured real moments of life were captured, from traditional festival rituals in Rijal Alma to local artisans in Al Balad. This commitment to authenticity creates an emotional connection between visitors and the people of Saudi Arabia.

Beyond cultural storytelling, Alice championed initiatives that connect creativity with sustainability. She instigated the involvement of scientists working on coral restoration, integrating their groundbreaking work into the Pavilion narrative. Her vision includes a powerful gesture of hope: transplanting 3D printed corals created within the Pavilion into Japanese seas after Expo, symbolizing global cooperation for ecological renewal. This innovative layer fuses environmental storytelling with action, an approach that exemplifies Alice’s ability to create experiences that resonate far beyond the walls of an exhibition.

Through these innovations, Alice demonstrates why she is one of the most influential figures in the immersive industry today. Her work is defined by a rare combination of creative bravery, strategic vision, and a deep respect for cultural integrity. She understands that immersive environments are not simply about visual spectacle; they are platforms for empathy, understanding, and collaboration.

In a sector that increasingly values authenticity and purpose, Alice’s projects, which also include The Empire State Building Observatory and Lift 109 at Battersea Power Station, set the standard. By blending art, science, and storytelling, she is redefining what the future of global immersive experiences can be. The creativity, passion, and leadership she brings to her projects is why blooloop placed her in the ‘Power 10’ within their list of top 50 Immersive Influencers for 2025.
