At Journey, we’ve always believed that the future of experience lives at the intersection of imagination, storytelling, and technology. It’s where physical worlds, digital spaces, and immersive environments converge to create something entirely new – something deeply human.

Today, that future expands once again.

We’re thrilled to welcome Dimension Studio into the Journey family.

For more than a decade, the UK-based studio has been shaping the future of filmmaking and immersive storytelling. Dimension has helped define the modern language of virtual production: real-time filmmaking, in-camera digital effects, volumetric performance capture, digital humans, and AI-powered workflows. As well as its own projects currently in production, the studio’s recent film and TV projects include Those About To Die for Amazon, Masters of the Air for Apple TV+, Robert Zemeckis’ Here, Universal Pictures’ Wicked parts 1 & 2, and Taika Waititi’s Time Bandits. The team behind Dimension Live has delivered recent projects for international artists, including Röyksopp and Floating Points, and at major live events, including the Glastonbury Festival. With their most recent award at the Broadcast Tech Innovation Awards for Tech Team of the Year, Dimension has established itself as one of the most inventive and technically fearless studios working today, intent on pushing the boundary between the physical and the digital.

“At Journey, we believe the future of design belongs to those who can bridge imagination, storytelling, and technology,” said Andrew Zimmerman, CEO of Journey. “Dimension embodies that philosophy completely. Together, we’re not just creating new forms of content; we’re inventing new ways for people to experience the world.”

Dimension joins Journey’s global family of pioneering studios: 59, Squint/Opera, ICRAVE and VMI. The transaction was supported by private equity firm Growth Catalyst Partners, which targets investments in tech-enabled creative businesses.

Together, we form a multidimensional design practice unlike anything else – a team of 400 experience designers, filmmakers, animators, show creators, and world-builders shaping the spaces and places of tomorrow.

With Dimension, our ability to concept, design, build, and produce expands dramatically: we can architect the environment, design the spectacle, and capture the story – all inside the same creative universe.

Welcome, Dimension.
