We are looking for ambitious Mid-Weight Interior Designers to join our award-winning ICRAVE Design Team at our dynamic new studio in London!
About the Studio:
Our physical studio was formed through the acquisition of ICRAVE (www.icrave.com) in December 2021, an industry thought leader in strategy, interior, and experience design. ICRAVE has collaborated with both Fortune 500 brands and up-and-coming companies across a variety of sectors including health care, airport & transportation, restaurants and hospitality, sporting stadiums, entertainment ventures, and commercial real estate across the world. The business was founded by Lionel Ohayon in 2002, a visionary in architectural and experience design, who is both a Founder and Chief Creative Officer of Journey.

About the Position:
As a Mid-Weight Interior Designer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering interior design projects from conceptual design through to construction documents, adhering to the highest standards of quality and innovation. You will leverage your expertise to cultivate client relationships and work closely with project team members to coordinate design development and construction documents, ensuring seamless project execution.
Your role will involve creating detailed architectural drawings, 3D models, and specifications using Revit and Rhino. Leveraging your skilled fundamentals, you will contribute to the realization of architectural design visions while upholding our commitment to excellence.
Some of the day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Coordination and communication with clients, contractors, and vendors throughout each step of the design process, from initial concept through construction administration.
- Utilizing Revit for documentation sets, showcasing your expertise in both creative and technical skill sets.
- Creating project schedules and providing budget evaluations for design and construction expenditures and adherence to applicable building codes
- Implementing BIM execution plans and coordination.
- Participating in client meetings and crafting elaborate client presentations.
- Monitoring design development and construction to ensure high-quality execution.
- Active participation in team meetings and design reviews.
About You:

You have relevant experience working with our clients on architectural and/or interior/theatrical design projects, with the ability to express innovation and rigor around ideas visually and verbally.

From a skills and experience standpoint, you have:
- A Degree in Architecture or related fields
- 4+ years of post-graduate experience
- A background in architecture
- Expert-level proficiency in Revit and Rhino
- Notable experience within the hospitality sector is highly preferred
- High level of organizational skills
- Confidence in sketching and presenting new ideas
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
In the spirit of flexibility, please be aware that this position involves a hybrid work arrangement, incorporating both remote and in-person commitments at one of our new physical design studio in London.
